Matt Cutts: Try something new for 30 days

  1. I really liked the part when Matt talked about taking a picture every day for 30 days and how memorable that made his days during the month. Gosh, if we could only live each day THAT AWARE of our daily experiences that each day made a picture in our mind, how great would THAT be? Again, we muddle through the day paying more attention to the coffee cups than the coffee, that so many of the really extraordinary moments become ordinary, unforgettable moments. Sometimes it is hard to shut our minds down and just listen... just be. It is important to remember that we don't get the day back again. One shot. Live fully... and how cool it would be to try something new and exciting every 30 days! (I'm already thinking of what I'm going to try next month!)

  2. This is a great idea to help reenergize the soul! It helps remind is that little things are important. I have two things I would like to make a 30 day challenge. Number one, I want to get to bed before 11pm. I am a night owl and I know I do not get enough sleep. Challenging myself to get to bed early will allow me to develop better sleeping habits and also help me prepare for the busy school year. I am also going to challenge myself to make contact with a family member every day. My family (dad, sister, brother) isn't the most communicative family, so a simple text, email, or phone call to one of them each day may help us talk and connect more than we do!
